When you visit the Villa Capri at Scotch Valley, you realize instantly that it is indeed a cut above the rest. Standing on the grounds, you are surrounded by the natural beauty of the local mountains. (don’t even get us started on the spectacular fall foliage). There is a large parking area adjacent to the facility, and easy handicap access points.
The Villa Capri at Scotch Valley features the DeGol Ballroom, accessible from a private entrance. Upon entering, you are greeted by a grand foyer, offering a wonderful area to greet your guests. The foyer opens into the ballroom that features a large open floor plan, high ceilings, centrally located dance floor, two
bar stations, and a magnificent expanse of windows that allow the natural beauty of the surrounding grounds to accent the space. It creates a perfect canvas on which to paint your dream wedding reception.
The staff at the Villa Capri at Scotch Valley understands the importance of your special date, and will address all your needs in a polite, professional manner. Food services are provided by the “Villa Capri at Scotch Valley”. Under the watchful eye of Chef Vinnie Scalaro, the Villa Capri is renowned as one of the finest dining experiences in Central PA.
The bar areas are staffed by Scotch Valley employees, all professionally attired and RAMP certified to make your evening less stressful.
Should you wish to have a separate area for pre event or pre dinner appetizers, two additional rooms are available. The Fairway and Oak rooms offer intimate settings for your guests, again featuring an open floor plan and wide expanses of windows.
The Villa Capri at Scotch Valley also offers an outdoor wedding site option. This is adjacent to the Villa Capri and features a large concrete area that can accommodate a tent and/or open seating for the ceremony.
Although considered by many as a premier, private club, the Villa Capri at Scotch Valley is open to the public year round.
